We have a NEW page on our Website. It is the Committee Page. Click here to learn more about the volunteer opportunities with the Jefferson County, Habitat for Humanity.

Volunteers are always needed for ongoing Habitat projects, especially in our office.
Yes, we need people who can help with the construction process, but we also need strong leaders to come along side as we build our affiliate. We also need office volunteers, committee leaders, and even cooks (we like to keep our volunteers well fed!)

Call our office to speak with our executive director, Lauren Cravens, at (920) 397-7362, Monday through Thursday between 8 am and 1:30 pm.

If you or someone you know is in need of decent, affordable housing, please call our office for more information about the process of applying for Habitat home ownership.
We will begin building another home in Jefferson County, Wisconsin, in the summer of 2008.

Non Construction Volunteers Needed

Would you like to volunteer for Habitat but prefer not to do construction work? Habitat has the following opportunities available:

  • Food Prep: Help prepare or donate food for our workers. You can chose to offer a morning snack, hot dish for lunch, side dish(es) for lunch, dessert for lunch, or a mid-afternoon snack.

  • Site Hosts: A site host checks in volunteers, goes over the safety rules, and is in charge of the first aid supplies. This is an easy task, as you may want to bring a book if you are not going to work on the home!! 
Both opportunities are significant to help our build be successful, and your help is needed.
